Introduction

AquaTex will be hosting a mini-tournament of TISCA West Region teams on Saturday, March 30 at Micki Krebsbach. There is room for 12 games beginning at 9:00 AM until approximately 6:00 PM which means the total number of teams will not exceed 12 (six girls’ and six boys’ for example) with a two-game guarantee. The cost is $150 per team as it was for our March 8-9 tournament.

We ask for your honest assessment of whether your team will have enough players so we avoid any forfeits and to encourage varsity games. Programs must have settled their accounts with AquaTex for the March 8-9 tournament to be considered for the Mini Tournament. The deadline for indicating your intent to play is Saturday, March 23.

Dates: 30 March 2019. Saturday games will go from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

There will be some balls available for warm up. Extra caps may be available. The color of swim caps must match, within reason, the color of the water polo cap per NFHS rules.

Conditions: Teams must be led by TISCA-registered coaches. Coaches can register using this form.

Code of Conduct: The games this weekend are being played under the rules of the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA). Good sportsmanship is one of the primary purposes of our interscholastic athletic programs. Our athletes recognized that judgment calls are made in good faith and that they must abide by the decisions of the officials. Spectators can support their programs by refraining from derogatory or intemperate remarks or cheers. We hope you will enjoy all the games and ask that you support your athletes in a positive and sportsmanlike manner.

LASA, Cedar Ridge, San Antonio Impress at Spring Opener

The girls of Cedar Ridge and LASA came away with two wins each at Saturday’s Longhorn Spring kickoff. The Jaguars take top position on the varsity tables having already pocketed three victories in the young season.

They top the varsity tables after winning twice this season.
